About CBAM Partner

CBAM Partner is a CBAM compliance service for EU importers, especially SMEs that import steel, aluminium, cement and fertilisers from China and Türkiye. It is run by Marius Moise from Constanța, Romania – next to the Black Sea port through which many of these goods arrive. We do three things: we show what CBAM really costs per supplier, help you find suppliers with verified emission data and handle the paperwork.

What we guarantee

  • Fixed, published prices – you know the cost before you start.
  • Requests for verified data go to your suppliers in their language (中文, Türkçe or English).
  • Transparent calculations: every number with its formula and official EU source.
  • If a supplier has no verified data: default values, calculated correctly and declared on time – and you see the extra cost in advance.
  • Your data stays confidential and is used only for your CBAM compliance.

What stays with you

  • You remain legally responsible as authorised CBAM declarant (or your indirect customs representative does).
  • You or your representative submit the declaration in the CBAM Registry and buy and surrender the certificates on the official platform.
  • Your customs broker files the customs declarations – we don’t.
  • Legal and tax questions go to your lawyer or tax adviser – we don’t give legal advice.
  • Verification is done only by accredited verifiers, commissioned by the producer.

What we cannot promise

  • That your suppliers have or will provide verified data – small factories usually don’t, and rarely pay for verification for one customer.
  • That we can get a factory verified – verification is the producer’s decision, like ISO certification.
  • Decisions and processing times of the authorities.
  • That the rules will not change – we follow them and tell you what changes for you.
